I’m Julian — the photographer behind Fulton Studios, based in Gelligaer with a studio on Blackwood’s main street. For more than a decade I’ve focused on wedding photography because I love documenting real moments: the laughter, the small gestures, the unscripted emotion that makes each wedding unique. My approach is simple — it’s your day, not the photographer’s — so I aim to be unobtrusive, friendly and prepared. My style blends natural, documentary storytelling with considered portraits when you want them. I prioritise good preparation, gentle direction and a calm atmosphere so couples and guests feel relaxed. That means less posing and more authentic connection: images that look and feel like the day you remember. Working with me is straightforward and personal.
