Hi — I’m Dave Willis. I’m an award-winning wedding photographer based in Colwyn Bay, photographing couples across North Wales, the Llyn Peninsula and beyond. My work is for relaxed couples who want their day captured honestly and unstaged: reportage-style wedding photography that focuses on real moments, emotions and atmosphere rather than stiff poses or gimmicks. Over the years I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings, and that experience helps me anticipate the moments that matter. My approach is relaxed and friendly. I like to get to know couples before the big day so you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Engagement shoots are a great way to do that: a short, fun session that helps you get used to being photographed and gives you beautiful images for invites or your wedding table. On the wedding day I work unobtrusively from preparation through to the party, documenting the story as it unfolds and creating a mix of candid reportage images and natural portraits.
