I’m Aled — a Cardiff wedding photographer dedicated to capturing weddings in a natural, relaxed documentary style. My work is about telling honest stories: the nervous preps, the tearful vows, the belly laughs in the speeches and those small, unplanned moments that make each day uniquely yours. How I work with couples matters as much as the pictures I take. It usually starts with a chat over a cuppa so I can hear what matters to you and get a sense of your plans and personality. Many couples choose a pre-wedding or engagement shoot so we can get to know each other and everyone feels at ease on the day. On the wedding day I stay focused and flexible, responding to light, locations and the mood of the day to make sure every important moment is recorded. After your wedding I carefully edit and retouch the images to reflect the atmosphere of the day — natural tones, clear emotion and strong storytelling. Images are delivered in high-resolution digital format and can be turned into keepsakes and albums if you wish. Based in Cardiff, I specialise in wedding photography across South Wales and the UK.
