We are Dewi & Vicky — Fox & Bear Photography — and weddings are what we do best. Based in Abergele and working across North Wales, Cheshire and beyond, we specialise in natural, intimate wedding photography that lets your story breathe. You are the heroes of your love story; our job is to show that truth without awkward posing or forced smiles. We shoot quietly, seek the small moments and let real emotion lead the frame. Our approach is relaxed, documentary-led and romantic. Dewi spends weekends embedded with couples, finding the little details and candid connections that make each wedding unique, while Vicky shapes those images into the Fox & Bear look during editing. We’re hybrid photographers — we work with both digital and film (including Super 8) to create photographs and short moving pieces with texture and timelessness. The result is a gallery that feels like you: honest, natural and full of life. How we work with couples: first, we get to know you. A chat or pre-shoot helps calm nerves and gives us a sense of how you move together. As the day approaches we use a short questionnaire so we don’t miss the moments that matter to you. On the wedding day we’re calm, discreet and friendly — the aim is that you barely notice us as we capture the story unfolding. Afterwards, Vicky carefully edits and sequences your images so they tell the day from morning preparations to the final dance. Why choose Fox & Bear? Two reasons: experience and heart.
