I’m Jarek (JH Wedding Photography) — a wedding specialist based between Larkhall and Hamilton. Weddings are my focus and my passion: I tell stories in photographs, capturing the unscripted moments that bring you straight back to how the day felt. I work quietly in the background, arriving prepared with professional kit (main camera, reliable backup, a range of Canon lenses) so I can focus on reading moments, light and emotion rather than fussing over gear. When the day allows, I also use my DJI Mavic 2 Pro to add aerial vantage points for dramatic outdoor group or couple shots — always subject to venue permissions and safety. My approach is friendly and calm. Before your day we’ll meet — face to face or online — to plan timings, the group shot list and any special moments you want captured. On the morning I blend into prep, photographing genuine interactions; during the ceremony I stay unobtrusive, moving for the best natural angles without flash or distraction; and at the reception I document speeches, dinner and the dancefloor with the aim of preserving the atmosphere rather than staging it. Although weddings are my core expertise, I also offer engagement/pre-wedding and post-wedding sessions as optional extras to help you feel relaxed in front of the camera and to create more personal images away from the busy day. I’m comfortable shooting across Hamilton, Larkhall and Central Scotland — and I’m always happy to travel for destination celebrations when invited.
