I’m Abbie Rodger — a Larkhall-based wedding photographer who has been capturing weddings across North Lanarkshire and throughout Scotland for over a decade. My priority is to document your day honestly and beautifully: the little glances, unscripted laughter and those in-between moments that tell the real story of your celebration. I prefer an un-intrusive, documentary-led approach so you and your guests can relax and be present while I quietly capture the emotion of the day. My philosophy is simple: great wedding photography comes from calm planning, good communication and a confident, experienced eye. From our first conversation I’ll listen to what matters most to you — whether that’s candid moments, family portraits or dramatic couple portraits in Scotland’s landscapes — and together we’ll shape a plan that feels natural. I design photobooks and albums personally, and deliver a polished gallery via a private online viewing space so friends and family can share in your memories. Edited images are supplied with careful retouching and attention to colour and tone so your photos stand the test of time. Working with me is relaxed and friendly. I aim to make the whole experience straightforward: clear pre-shoot guidance, a calm presence on the wedding day and efficient coverage that ensures nothing important is missed. If you’d like more coverage I can work with a second photographer to broaden your story, and I also offer engagement sessions to help you feel at ease in front of the camera before the big day. While weddings are my speciality, I also photograph family and maternity sessions from my studio near Larkhall and on location — perfect for capturing the chapters that lead up to and follow your wedding. My work reflects a love of natural light, honest emotion and thoughtful composition, whether I’m shooting a village church ceremony or a country estate in the Clyde Valley.
