I’m Lorraine Bhandari and I specialise in wedding photography and wedding films from my base in High Blantyre. Family and connections mean the world to me, so being part of one of the most important days in a couple’s life feels less like a job and more like an honour. Since starting the business in 2010 I’ve filmed and photographed hundreds of weddings across Scotland and the UK, and I bring that experience to every booking. My approach is gentle, personal and unobtrusive. I favour a photojournalistic, reportage style that captures the natural moments and emotions as your day unfolds, balanced with the traditional posed family and bridal party images you’ll want on the mantelpiece. On the film side I create creative, stylish highlights and full wedding films that let you hear the vows, laugh at the speeches and relive the small, candid moments you might otherwise have missed. Working with me is straightforward and friendly. I’ll usually arrange a pre-meet so we can talk through your timings, special requests and the feel you want for your photos and film. If it helps, I’ll attend the rehearsal when possible. On the day I’m there to support you — involved but never bossy — and I aim to be the sort of presence that helps you relax so real moments can happen. From bridal preparations through to your first dances, I manage the filming, photography, editing and delivery personally: I film, I photograph, I edit, I deliver. That hands-on approach means you get consistent care from enquiry to final gallery. Because I run a small, independent business I’m able to keep investment affordable without compromising on quality. I’ll work with you to tailor coverage to your needs — whether you want photography, videography or both — and I pride myself on delivering finished highlights and films families cherish for years.
