I’m Gary — a wedding specialist based in Barrhead who loves being part of people’s happiest days. For over two decades I’ve focused on wedding photography across Glasgow and throughout Scotland, and my priority is always the same: to create beautiful, natural images that tell the real story of your wedding day. My approach is relaxed, friendly and unobtrusive. I combine a reportage (documentary) eye with a gentle bit of direction when it’s needed — guiding couples into natural, comfortable poses for a few memorable bride-and-groom shots, then stepping back to capture the candid laughter, tears and small details that make each wedding unique. Brides and grooms often comment that they hardly noticed me during the ceremony; that trust allows me to photograph moments as they happen, honestly and without fuss. On the practical side I’ll work closely with you from our first consultation right through to your finished album. I photograph bridal preparations, the ceremony, congratulations, group photographs, speeches and first dances — and I’m happy to stay later if you want more images of the evening. I aim to be efficient during formal shots so you can get back to enjoying your day, and I always plan ahead for weather or venue challenges so great photos aren’t reliant on perfect conditions. Having won the 2016 Scottish Wedding Awards for the south west of Scotland and built a portfolio across venues from Lodge on the Loch to Glasgow city locations, I bring technical experience and calm energy to every wedding. I shoot with professional Canon equipment and provide high-quality presentation options such as online galleries and storybook albums to showcase your images the way they deserve to be seen. While weddings are my core speciality, I also offer portrait, family and maternity shoots as additional services — always with the same relaxed, natural style.
