I’m Geoff Telford — a wedding specialist based in Craigavon (Co. Armagh) who genuinely loves smiles. Weddings are full of them, and I consider it a privilege to document the real, joyful moments that make each day unique. My approach is simple: be friendly, get to know you, and tell your life‑story with relaxed, documentary-style images that feel natural rather than staged. Having moved from a career in science and 15 years in IT into full-time photography in 2012, I bring a calm, organised mindset to busy wedding days. I don’t want to be the distant observer — I want to be part of the day, interacting with your guests, putting nervous family members at ease, and helping you both relax so the moments happen naturally. Whether it’s a quiet exchange between you two, a laugh with a friend, or the celebration on the dance floor, I look to capture the emotion and atmosphere that you’ll want to remember forever. My style is about storytelling rather than gimmicks. I favour candid, smile-filled images and quiet portraits that reflect who you are as a couple. I pride myself on creating a fun, low-pressure atmosphere: plenty of craic, a good chat, and photography that feels effortless. I also design beautiful keepsakes and presentations of your day when clients want them — everything is tailored around your story and how you’d like to look back on it. Working with me starts with a conversation. I like to meet (or video call) to hear your plans, get a feel for the day, and share ideas. Many couples choose an engagement/pre-wedding shoot as a relaxed way to get comfortable in front of the camera — it’s great fun and helps you feel confident on the wedding day. On the day itself I blend into the flow, directing only when helpful and always keeping things light and friendly. Based in Craigavon, I regularly photograph weddings across Northern Ireland, the UK and Ireland and am happy to travel for celebrations.
