Hi — I’m Jodie‑Lee, a Rossendale-based wedding photographer who loves photographing two people in love surrounded by the people who matter to them. I specialise in documentary-style wedding photography: relaxed, candid, fun and colourful images that tell the story of your day as it naturally unfolds. Why choose me? I’m all about the little moments — the belly laughs, the snorts, the quiet looks and the confetti chaos. I blend in with your guests, share a joke or two, and lend a hand when needed, becoming the extra friend you didn’t know you needed. My approach is low-pressure: I provide gentle direction for portraits so you don’t feel like runway models, then step back and document the real emotions and interactions that make your wedding uniquely yours. How I work: we’ll start with a proper chat so I can get to know you and your plans — I’m nosey in the best way and love hearing about venue details, timings and the little touches you’ve planned. A few weeks before the wedding I’ll use my wedding-day form to map out timings and logistics, ensuring I’m in the right place to capture every meaningful moment. On the day I photograph naturally, pause for a short portrait walk (your little adventure) and keep an eye out for those spontaneous memories that matter most. My style is bright and colourful, with a documentary heart. I photograph weddings across Rossendale, Lancashire, the Ribble Valley, Burnley, Manchester, Cheshire, the Lake District and the wider North West — and I’m always up for travel for a really lovely celebration. I also shoot family and newborn sessions, which feeds into how I capture weddings: honesty, warmth and a focus on life’s authentic moments.
