Hi—I’m Rowena, the face behind Weddings by Rowena, based in Radcliffe, Manchester. How I work: I listen first. We’ll talk about your plans, favourite moments and the vibe you want. Many couples take an engagement or pre-wedding session so we can get to know each other; that relaxed session helps you feel confident in front of the lens on the day. On the wedding day I move unobtrusively among your guests to capture candid reportage moments and step in for thoughtful couple portraits when the moment calls for it. I also offer a quick sneak peek within 24 hours so you can share a few highlights while memories are still fresh. Beyond weddings: While weddings are my core speciality, I also photograph engagements, family and newborn sessions in my home studio. I provide careful editing and Photoshop retouching to ensure your images look their best—skin smoothing, colour work and removal of distractions when needed—always with a natural finish that preserves the emotion of the moment.
