I’m Kath — a Lancashire wedding photographer based in Lytham St Annes, working across the North West and beyond. My work is rooted in a simple idea: weddings are about people, emotion and story. I specialise in wedding photography, creating relaxed, natural and creative images that reflect the real moments of your day — the big events and the tiny unscripted details that make a wedding utterly unique. My approach is documentary-led with a romantic edge. I look for authentic expressions, movement and light, guiding subtly when needed but otherwise letting things unfold. The result is a collection of photographs that feel honest and timeless — images you’ll love now and want to revisit for years to come. Whether we’re shooting on the beach at St Annes promenade or in a grand venue across Lancashire, I seek out atmosphere and emotion to craft photographs that tell your story. Working with couples is the part I love most. I focus on building a calm, friendly connection from our first chat through to the wedding day. Pre-wedding conversations (and optional engagement shoots) give us the chance to get to know one another, choose locations you’ll love and make sure you feel comfortable in front of the camera. On the day I stay attentive and unobtrusive, documenting natural moments as they happen so you can be fully present with your family and friends. I’ve been a full-time wedding photographer since 2008 and I still find inspiration in every celebration — from intimate elopements to grand, festival-style days. Based on the Fylde coast, I’m happiest shooting by the sea but I also photograph weddings across Lancashire, Cheshire, Yorkshire, the Lake District and the North West. I take on a limited number of weddings each year so I can give each couple the time and care their memories deserve.
