I’m Jenny, a Lichfield-based wedding photographer obsessed with light, emotion and honest storytelling. Specialising in wedding photography, my aim is simple: to capture Your Story. Your Adventure. I combine a half-reportage, half-editorial approach so you’ll get those natural, relaxed, candid images alongside composed, striking portraits that stand the test of time. Couples often tell me they hate having their photo taken — and that’s exactly why I work the way I do. I’m unobtrusive for most of the day, documenting real moments as they unfold, but I’ll also step in with gentle direction when it helps create beautiful images. I look for dreamy, soft natural light and use composition to bring out the atmosphere of the day. Black and white conversions are a favourite of mine and I include them because they add a classic, timeless layer to your wedding collection. Working across Lichfield, Staffordshire and the surrounding counties (Cheshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire and North Wales), I love photographing city strolls, countryside fields, church ceremonies and elegant venues alike. I’m proud to be a preferred supplier at Hawkesyard Estate and I know many local venues well, which helps me plan portraits and timing so your day flows smoothly. My process is friendly and personal. We’ll start with a relaxed chat so I can understand your plans and style. Many couples opt for a pre-wedding shoot — a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and try out locations — but it’s entirely optional. On the day I blend into the background, capture the candid moments that tell the real story and take a handful of informal group photos and portraits without any awkward posing. I care about presenting your images beautifully, so I’ve taken time to source high-quality album suppliers who turn your photos into heirlooms. Ultimately I want your wedding photos to feel like a true reflection of the day: warm, emotional and a pleasure to look back on for years to come.
