I’m Ghene (pronounced “gene”) Snowdon, the photographer behind Snowdon Photography, based in Leytonstone. Weddings are a core focus of my work and I photograph a limited number of weddings each year so I can give every couple the attention they deserve. My approach is simple: be present, stay unobtrusive and make people feel relaxed so the moments you remember naturally find their way into your wedding photos. Growing up with a camera from the age of eleven gave me a lasting appetite for candid human moments — laughter, quiet looks, the small gestures that make each wedding unique. That curiosity, plus years of experience working with people from all walks of life, shapes how I work on wedding days: attentive, patient and warm. I’m comfortable shooting across London and beyond, on-location, capturing genuine emotion rather than forcing staged poses. Before the day we’ll chat and plan so I understand what matters most to you. That consultation means I can anticipate moments, blend into your day and deliver professional wedding photos that feel true to your story. On the wedding day I focus on creating a calm atmosphere — allowing the celebration to unfold while I document it. You’ll receive a private online gallery where you can view, download and order prints at your leisure; I’m not a fan of hard-sell tactics and prefer to let the images speak for themselves. While I also specialise in family and portrait work, my wedding photography remains a speciality: thoughtful, location-led and driven by a desire to preserve authentic memories.
