I’m James of Mine & Thine Photography, a Leeds-based wedding photographer who loves colourful, natural and relaxed wedding photography. For over 14 years I’ve photographed weddings across Leeds, York and the wider Yorkshire patch — from rustic farm and barn celebrations to intimate micro-weddings at the register office. I’ve been lucky enough to be there for more than 400 couples and I still get a buzz from those honest, unposed moments that make each wedding unique. Why choose Mine & Thine? Working together (James & Lianne in our earlier days, and now a close-knit team) means we can be in two places at once — catching both the big emotional moments and the little details that might otherwise be missed. That teamwork creates a coherent, complementary visual story of your wedding without clashing styles. How we work: I prefer to meet and chat about your day, learn what matters to you and scope the best moments and locations. Whether it’s golden-hour portraits in a field behind a barn or candid scenes in a city-centre venue, I aim to make portrait time quick, relaxed and actually enjoyable. Engagement shoots are also available for couples who want to feel more comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. Although weddings are my core focus, I sometimes run relaxed mini family sessions and occasional shoots with pets — always with the same easygoing, natural approach. But it’s wedding photography where my heart and expertise lie: capturing laughter, colour and those tiny honest moments that become the memories you’ll return to for years.
