I’m Hamish Irvine — a Leeds-based wedding photographer who loves colour, energy and storytelling. My work is about more than beautiful pictures; it’s about preserving the real, unguarded moments that make your wedding day feel like you again and again. I shoot with a documentary-first mindset, looking for the laughter, the tears, the small gestures and the big bursts of joy that tell the story of your day. Why choose me? My style is colourful, modern and fun — I favour natural light, candid emotion and bold colour to create images that feel alive and authentic. Before the wedding we spend time getting to know each other — I offer a pre-wedding/engagement shoot so you can see how I work and feel comfortable in front of the camera. On the day I move like a storyteller: unobtrusive when the moment needs to unfold, gently directional when you want portraits, and always searching for the small, telling gestures that make your gallery sing. I’m happy to travel across Yorkshire and beyond — I’m based in Leeds but I’ll follow a great story wherever it happens. My approach is focused on atmosphere and authenticity rather than stiff posing.
