I'm Yandan — a Leeds-based, UK Chinese photographer who specialises in wedding and engagement photography with a documentary heart. I’m always honoured to be invited to document one of the happiest days in people's lives. For me, wedding photography is about more than pretty pictures: it’s about noticing the small, true moments — the laugh at the table, the quiet preparation, the look that says everything — and turning them into images you’ll return to for years. My approach blends documentary storytelling with thoughtful portrait work. I prefer to move through your day quietly and attentively, capturing candid emotions and interactions as they unfold, while also carving out relaxed moments for bridal and couple portraits.
