Hi — I’m Stu, the photographer behind SnapShots77, based in Kingston upon Hull. Weddings are my passion: I love being part of a day that’s full of atmosphere, emotion and honest moments. My approach is down-to-earth and unposed — I tell the story of your wedding through natural, candid images while also creating a handful of timeless, stylish portraits you’ll be proud to hang on your living-room wall. That’s why I offer a complimentary engagement / pre-wedding shoot — it’s a low-pressure way for us to meet, get comfortable together and plan how I’ll capture your day. On the wedding day I blend into the events, working up close when it matters so your photos feel alive and present, not distant or staged. My work balances documentary reportage with considered portraiture. I watch for those intimate, emotional exchanges and the small details that make your celebration unique, but I’ll also carve out time for creative portraits of the two of you in beautiful light. Light, composition and genuine expression are at the heart of how I craft images — I favour natural, available light where it suits the scene and use studio skills when we need something more polished. I bring professional, reliable kit and full backups so you can relax knowing your memories are safe. I’m fully insured and meticulous about delivery — every image receives careful editing and finishing, including high-quality retouching when required. You’ll receive an elegant online gallery and high-resolution files that are copyright-free, giving you the freedom to print and share as you wish. While weddings are my speciality, I’m flexible: I can assist with planning, offer makeup and hair styling via my team, and tailor coverage to the flow of your day.
