I’m Ian Spencer — a Kingston upon Hull-based wedding photographer with more than three decades behind the camera. I specialise in wedding and engagement photography, bringing a calm, relaxed presence to your day so you can enjoy every moment while I quietly capture the real emotion and fleeting details that tell your story. With extensive experience across Hull, Hessle, Beverley and the wider East Yorkshire area, I know how to adapt to different venues, lighting and weather — always respectfully and unobtrusively. How I work with couples: we always meet before you book so you can get a feel for how I operate and what I’ll bring to your day. We’ll talk through the timings, the important family groups and any special shots you’d like. On the wedding day I aim to be everywhere when needed and invisible when you simply want to be together. I love creating relaxed couple portraits during the day and capturing the details — from dress and rings to decorations and candid guest moments. After the wedding I carefully select and individually edit the best images so you can relive the day. I deliver finished images and offer beautiful presentation options — albums, prints and digital formats — so you have tangible memories to enjoy. Engagement and bridal portrait sessions are available as a natural complement to your wedding coverage, helping you feel comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. Beyond weddings, I also photograph portraits and maternity sessions and offer retouching/editing services to enhance your images when needed.
