Hi — I’m Dan, the photographer behind Dandrew Photography, based in Kingston upon Hull and covering weddings across Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire and beyond. As a specialist wedding photographer I focus on creating natural, fun images that reflect the real spirit of your day. My approach is super relaxed and laid-back so you can enjoy your wedding without constantly thinking about the camera. I believe the best wedding photos come from being present and unobtrusive. I document the day as it unfolds — the small, honest moments as well as the big ones — so your gallery feels like a true story of your celebration. While I love capturing candid interactions and atmosphere, I also place real importance on portraits. I’ll guide you gently through those moments so you feel comfortable and look like yourselves, not like you’re posing for a photoshoot. What sets Dandrew Photography apart is a blend of documentary sensitivity and a friendly, down-to-earth approach. With over six years photographing weddings and events, I’ve developed a style that’s creative but familiar: images that are genuine, emotive and enjoyable to look through. I work to create an easy-going atmosphere on the day — think more laughing and living, less stiff posing. I also offer engagement and couple shoots, which are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and to capture another chapter in your story. Outside of weddings I occasionally photograph families, portraits and commercial projects, but weddings remain my primary focus and passion.
