I prioritise unobtrusive, respectful coverage: I wear a suit, I use radio-mics where appropriate and I work to capture genuine moments rather than stage them. I favour a documentary full-length film framed by introduction sequences that show the venue and little details, and I also produce highlights montages and social-media edits so you have both a comprehensive record and shareable clips. If you and your guests want something more playful, marryoke (lip-sync) videos are an optional add-on. How I work with couples: we meet in person where possible — a no-pressure consultation (and tea) to look through examples, discuss timings and iron out any unusual requests. If the venue is new to me I’ll do a recce in advance. On the day I arrive in good time to capture establishing shots and ensure venue staff are comfortable with camera positions. I’m careful not to compete with your photographer; when booked together (my partner Maxine and I) we offer genuine synergy — two specialists working in our own media to give broader coverage without overwhelming your guests. My process after the wedding is equally considered. I edit footage and stills thoughtfully, with a second set of eyes from Maxine to proof the work before I fine-tune colour, audio and pacing. The result is a film and set of images that feel true to the day — unpretentious, crafted and long-lasting.
