Hi — I’m Dan Watkiss, an award-winning wedding photographer based in Keynsham, near Bristol. Since 2008 I’ve been documenting weddings across the UK and overseas, drawn to the honest, unscripted moments that make each day unmistakably yours. Growing up in a family of painters near Stonehenge taught me to value composition, light and feeling — and I bring that artistic eye to every wedding I photograph. I specialise in wedding photography. My approach is grounded in a relaxed, documentary-led style that blends discreet observation with gentle direction when needed. I aim to be more like a thoughtful guest than a technician: present for the real moments, unobtrusive during the tender ones, and ready to step in when a calm nudge will help create a natural portrait. Being based in Keynsham means I know the Bristol and southwest wedding scene well, but I’m happy to travel anywhere in the UK and beyond.
