I’m Chris, the face behind Christopher Lewis Photography — a specialist wedding photographer based in Irlam, working across the North West and beyond (we’ve even photographed weddings in Italy). With a background in film and media and over ten years shooting weddings, I approach each day as a storyteller: looking for the genuine, unposed moments that make a wedding uniquely yours. My style is honest and documentary-led. I favour candid emotion over forced posing, seeking those small, often-missed interactions — the laugh between siblings, the tear wiped away by a friend, the grin as you step onto the dancefloor. The philosophy is simple: the day is about you, your family and your guests, so my role is to blend in, keep things relaxed and let those real moments surface. I bloody love what I do, and that enthusiasm shows in the care I bring to every wedding. How I work with couples is rooted in getting to know you. From our first chat to the wedding day, I focus on making you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Many couples choose a pre-wedding (engagement) shoot to ease any nerves — it’s a brilliant way to practice being photographed together and it helps me capture more natural moments on the day. My wife, Victoria, keeps everything organised behind the scenes; she designs our Fine Art wedding albums and supports couples with planning and supplier recommendations. Where helpful, a second shooter joins the day to increase coverage and provide alternative angles of preparations, ceremony and speeches. Wayne and Darren are trusted members of the team who share the same calm, people-first approach and excellent eye for detail.
