I’m Steven Bailey — a Hyde-based wedding photographer with nearly two decades of experience capturing real emotion, laughter and the small details that make each day unique. Founded in 2007, my approach is relaxed, friendly and unobtrusive: I aim to put you at ease so the photographs feel natural, honest and full of life. Whether it’s a tear at the ceremony, the joy of confetti or quiet moments during bridal prep, I look for the moments you’ll want to revisit again and again. My style blends documentary-led reportage with a love of vintage film. I bring both digital and 35mm vintage cameras to your day, hand-processing and presenting analogue prints alongside your digital gallery when required. Film adds a tactile, timeless quality to images that can’t be replicated with filters — the grain, colour and imperfections become part of the story. For couples who want an authentic vintage feel I’ll shoot with true film equipment; for the rest, digital delivers flexibility and coverage across the whole day. How I work: I’ll start with a conversation to understand your plans and what matters most to you. On the day I typically arrive around 1.5 hours before the ceremony to cover preparations and build a relaxed rhythm to the schedule. I’ll photograph the ceremony, family groups, speeches, details and evening celebrations, and set aside 15–20 minutes for intimate couple portraits. All clients receive a USB of images (edited and unedited where requested), a private web gallery to share with friends and family and full print/copyright options. I specialise in wedding photography across Hyde, Manchester and the North West and have worked at a wide range of venues across the region. While weddings are my focus, I also offer complementary services — portrait, family, corporate photography and video coverage — which can be combined to suit your day. A second photographer (often my wife) can be added for broader coverage, and bespoke Graphistudio wedding albums are available if you want a handmade keepsake.
