I’m Kathryn — a relaxed and friendly wedding photographer based in Hucknall, covering the East Midlands and beyond. I specialise in photographing camera‑shy couples who want to enjoy their day without feeling posed or pressured. My approach is warm, unobtrusive and a little bit theatrical — influenced by a love of theatre and film — which helps me find the best light and the most honest moments as your day unfolds. How I work with you: from our first message I aim to make the whole experience simple and enjoyable. Many couples add a pre-wedding engagement shoot so we can get to know each other — it’s a perfect way to calm camera nerves and practise being photographed. On the day I stay present but invisible, moving through your celebrations to catch laughter, tears and those unscripted moments. After the wedding you’ll receive your edited images via a password‑protected online gallery, and I’m always happy to help with album design so your story lives on in print. What I offer alongside wedding coverage: tasteful, professionally designed albums and the option to add a second photographer or my Video Fusion add‑on for short wedding films.
