I’m Petr — an award‑winning Hornchurch wedding photographer who loves telling stories through honest, emotive images. If you hate posing, cringe at “say cheese” and want your wedding captured as a lived, joyful day rather than a sequence of stiff portraits, we’ll get on famously. My work sits at the intersection of modern, documentary photojournalism and creative, alternative wedding photography: cool, creative, emotive and just a little bit different. Why choose me? Over many years of photographing weddings across London, Hornchurch and the wider UK (and beyond), I’ve refined an unobtrusive approach so you can be fully present while I craft a visual story of your day. How I work: I make photography easy and personal. We’ll meet (over coffee, phone or video) to chat about your plans and what matters most to you. On the day I blend into the background, shooting in a documentary manner, stepping in only to gently guide when a natural, relaxed portrait would add to your story. Afterwards I carefully edit each image to my signature style — a mix of colour and black & white — so the final gallery reads like a cinematic, emotional narrative you’ll want to rewatch again and again. My style and values: I value authenticity over perfection. My aim is not to stage life but to honour it — capturing real feelings, real energy and the true character of your celebration. Being recognised by reportage and wedding photography bodies and featuring in top industry lists has been wonderful, but what matters most is creating photographs that make you laugh, cry and relive your wedding day. Beyond weddings, I also offer documentary family shoots and event coverage with the same honest, relaxed approach.
