I’m Michael Clement — Clemmy Photographer — a Horley-based wedding specialist with a simple aim: to capture the real, candid moments that make each wedding unique. With more than 15 years behind the camera, I specialise in wedding photography and bring a calm, unobtrusive presence to your day so you can enjoy every moment without interruption. My approach is documentary-led and rooted in storytelling. I blend in with the flow of the day, watching for genuine reactions — the laugh across the table, the quiet look between two people, the small details that carry emotion. Those tiny touches (the lace on the dress, a handwritten note, a carefully chosen centrepiece) are as important to me as the big moments. Together they form the story of your wedding day. Working with me is relaxed and collaborative. I take time to get to know couples before the big day so I understand what matters to you. On the day I aim to create a friendly atmosphere where people feel comfortable being themselves; this ease produces authentic, natural photographs rather than staged poses. I’m confident directing a couple for a few intimate portraits when needed, but most of my favourite images come from keeping things real and spontaneous. Technically, I combine a thoughtful eye for composition with practiced lighting and editing skills to deliver consistent, professional results. I take pride in producing images that look timeless yet immediate — photographs you’ll return to and feel transported by years from now. Although wedding photography is my core focus, I also offer portrait, corporate headshot and pet portrait sessions as complementary services for local families and businesses. These are handled with the same relaxed, professional approach, but my primary reputation and expertise remain squarely with weddings. Based in Horley, I regularly photograph celebrations across Surrey, West Sussex, London and the wider south of England.
