Hi — I’m André, the photographer behind BymylensPhography. As a Horley-based wedding specialist I focus on telling your wedding day story with clarity, feeling and a perfectionist’s attention to detail. Since 2014 I’ve been framing people and moments through my lens, and weddings have become a central passion: the stolen glances, the laughter, the staged portraits and the spontaneous moments all deserve to be captured beautifully. My approach is relaxed but precise. I know some couples want candid, documentary-style coverage while others prefer more posed, editorial portraits — I do both. I work with gentle direction to help you feel at ease in front of the camera, and I’m equally happy to step back and capture natural interactions. That flexibility means your photos will feel authentic while still looking polished and intentional. Working with me is straightforward and personal. I start with a conversation to understand what matters most to you — the moments you don’t want to miss, the style you love, and the practical timeline of your day. On the wedding day I aim to create a calm atmosphere, guiding key shots while staying alert for the little, irreplaceable moments that happen without warning. Afterwards I apply careful editing to ensure each image meets high standards of colour, tone and composition. Although wedding photography is my core specialism, my experience with portrait and family photography informs the way I compose bridal and couple portraits — creating flattering, timeless images you’ll want to keep forever. I’m approachable, friendly and used to working with couples who may feel nervous in front of a camera; my goal is to make the whole experience enjoyable so your photos reflect real joy.
