I’m Jo Quint — a Hitchin-based wedding photographer who believes the best photographs are about people, not poses. My approach is relaxed, documentary and endlessly curious: I’m a people watcher, moment catcher and happy-times curator. I don’t do forced smiles or stiff posing. Instead I create space for real connection so the images you receive take you right back to how your day felt. How I work: from our first chat I’ll want to hear your story — who you are, what matters most and the bits of the day you’re most excited about. I’ll blend into the background to capture ceremony, speeches and candid moments, then we’ll sneak off for a short portrait session when the light is at its best. Engagement shoots are something I wholeheartedly recommend (and often include) because they’re a brilliant way to feel comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. I photograph weddings across Hertfordshire and beyond, with Hitchin very much my home base. Whether you’re planning a grand celebration, a relaxed country marquee or an intimate micro wedding, my priority is the same: to tell your story honestly and creatively. I’m nimble on my feet, sensitive to family dynamics and experienced at shooting in low light, busy venues and golden-hour fields alike. Beyond the day: I care about how your images are enjoyed. Galleries are delivered with care and I work with specialist labs for beautiful albums and print boxes designed to be passed down through the generations. If you want an extra pair of eyes on the day, a second shooter can be arranged to capture alternate angles and additional candid moments.
