Fun, fresh, colourful wedding photography by Guild-qualified High Wycombe photographer Alison Busby. She captures natural, candid moments with a calm, editorial touch for couples across Bucks and Oxfordshire.
I’m Alison Busby — a Guild-qualified wedding photographer based near High Wycombe, specialising in fun, fresh, colourful wedding photography with a little editorial vibe. I’ve photographed 200+ weddings across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire and beyond, and my aim is simple: to capture your wedding day as it felt — the laughter, the tears and the private moments that mean the most. My approach is rooted in natural, candid storytelling. I love shooting real emotions and relaxed moments, but I’ll always take a little time to create beautiful portraits you’ll cherish. I mix natural light with subtle photographic lighting where needed, so your images feel timeless and fresh — colours that still look lovely in 20 years’ time. If you’re up for something creative, I also enjoy planning sunset and early-night portraits that add a touch of drama without losing the warmth of the day. What sets my wedding photography apart is the experience I bring to the whole process. I work to help couples feel comfortable in front of the camera — a calmer couple means more authentic photos. Before your day we’ll chat about what matters to you, run through a photo plan and, where useful, I’ll meet you at the venue for a scout. On the day I’m unobtrusive and organised, photographing candid moments as they happen and gently guiding any portraits so they feel natural rather than staged. I’m proud to be a Qualified Member of the Guild of Wedding Photographers and to have won awards in wedding and portrait categories. I carry professional indemnity and public liability insurance so you can book with confidence. While weddings are my core focus, I also shoot engagement sessions and location portraits when couples would like a relaxed pre-wedding shoot to loosen up before the big day. Based in High Wycombe, I’m ideally placed for weddings across Bucks and the Home Counties. If you’re planning a wedding and want a photographer who blends authentic documentary moments with considered, editorial portraits, I’d love to hear about your plans and see if I’m the right fit for your day.
