Hi — I’m Ellen, a Hertford-based wedding photographer who lives for the crazy, beautiful moments that make your day uniquely yours. I specialise in wedding photography, combining a documentary eye with gentle, natural posing so you look and feel like yourselves in every image. My style is modern, relaxed and heartfelt — I’m all about capturing emotion, laughter and those tiny in-between moments that transport you back to how you felt. Choosing a wedding photographer is about so much more than images — it’s about trust. I aim to be more than just a photographer to my couples: I get to know you both, help with planning and timeline tips, and bring a calm, friendly presence on the day. That connection means even camera-shy couples relax and enjoy the experience, which always shows in the photos. While wedding photography is my core focus, I’m also a hybrid photographer and include short highlight videos as an optional extra. These little video moments sit beautifully alongside your photos — a way to relive the atmosphere, the vows and the dancefloor energy in motion without commissioning a full video crew. My approach is straightforward and supportive. We’ll start with a chat so I can learn your plans and personalities. If you’d like, we’ll do an engagement shoot to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera ahead of the big day. On the wedding day I work unobtrusively to capture candids, then guide portraits with easy prompts that feel natural and fun. After the wedding I share sneak peeks because I know you’ll be excited, then deliver your final gallery for you to keep and share. Based in Hertford but happy to travel across the UK, I’m passionate about telling love stories honestly and beautifully.
