I’m Thom Walker — a Heanor-based wedding photographer focused on capturing the honest, unscripted moments that make each wedding unique. My process is straightforward and client-focused. We start with a conversation so I can understand what matters most to you: the moments you’re excited about, the family dynamics, and the vibe you want to preserve. On the wedding day I prioritise connection and comfort, helping even camera-shy couples relax into natural, flattering portraits. After the event I carefully edit and sequence your images so that the final gallery tells a cohesive story of your celebration. While weddings are my primary passion and specialty, I also photograph engagement sessions and bridal portraits that complement the wedding gallery — relaxed pre-wedding shoots are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and create images that reflect your relationship, not just your wardrobe. Based in Heanor and serving Nottinghamshire and the surrounding areas, I bring a calm, professional presence to every event. My work is for couples who value genuine emotion and a thoughtful, unobtrusive photographic approach.
