I’m Matt Lowe, the photographer behind Field Photographic, based in Heanor. I specialise in wedding photography — documentary-led, natural and quietly creative — capturing the genuine moments that make each wedding unique. On the wedding day I blend into the background while staying alert for defining moments: laughter, tears, glances and those fleeting gestures that reveal real feeling. I’ll guide lightly for portraits when needed, always aiming for relaxed, authentic expressions. After the wedding I carefully edit and sequence your images to craft a coherent visual story of the day. Beyond the gallery: I offer beautifully designed wedding storybooks that transform your favourite photographs into a tactile heirloom. The process is collaborative — you choose your favourite images, select cover materials and I design proofs for your approval before printing. I also provide wedding films for couples wanting moving-image memories alongside stills.
