I’m Jesse — a Hayling Island-based wedding specialist who blends cinematic wedding videography with observational, authentic photography. My approach is rooted in documentary storytelling: I look for the genuine moments, the small details and the connections between people that bring a day to life. Whether you want a cinematic film of your vows or relaxed portraits that feel like you, I aim to create memories you’ll want to watch and share for years. My background in media production (BA, Solent University) means I don’t just point and shoot — I think in story, sound and edit. Since launching Jesse Beale Media I’ve focused on weddings and events, spending hundreds of hours documenting real people and real emotion. I adapt to the atmosphere of your day: if you’re dancing, I’ll dance with you; if you want me to be invisible, I’ll blend into the background so moments unfold naturally. As a specialist wedding videographer I create cinematic, documentary-style wedding films that capture the laughter, tears and quiet conversations you might miss on the day. I also offer wedding photography and engagement photo/video shoots for couples who want to practise in front of the camera and include a short video. My films include full ceremony and speeches uncut when requested, plus a polished cinematic edit that tells the story of your day. Working with me is collaborative and relaxed. We start with a friendly chat — in person or via Zoom — to understand your vision, create a shot list of must-have moments, and plan how I’ll move through your day. I’m happy to tailor coverage and craft bespoke packages to suit your venue and priorities, and I travel across Hampshire and further afield for weddings. I also provide portrait and event photography as part of my core offering — useful for engagement shoots, family moments on the day, or celebrations around the wedding. For businesses or personal brands I offer branding shoots (photo + short video), though my primary focus remains wedding storytelling.
