I’m Anna, a Hastings-based wedding photographer who specialises in relaxed, reportage wedding photography. After years of photographing families and celebrations across East Sussex, I’ve honed an approach that keeps things natural, fun and completely focused on the people and relationships at the heart of your day. I work unobtrusively throughout the day, shooting in a reportage style so guests can be themselves and you can soak up every minute knowing it’s being captured thoughtfully. My background in teaching and school leadership left me calm under pressure and great at putting people at ease — useful when nerves are high and smiles need coaxing. I’m also someone who hates having my photo taken, so I know exactly how it feels to be in front of the camera. I use gentle prompts, a few playful ideas and plenty of patience to help even the most camera-shy couples relax and enjoy their portraits. How I work: we start with a conversation about your plans and what matters most to you, then I build a flexible plan for the day. I’ll quietly document the morning, ceremony, speeches and reception, and we’ll steal a short moment for couple portraits — often at sunset — to capture those quieter, romantic images. I’ll also work with you beforehand to ensure any important group photos are covered without eating into your day. Your images are delivered as high-resolution digital downloads so you can share and print as you wish. If you’d like, I can also design albums or order professional prints for you. Engagement photography is available as an add-on if you’d like a relaxed pre-wedding session to get to know each other and feel confident on the day.
