I’m Kane Young — a Hartlepool-based wedding photographer who has made wedding photography my full-time profession since 2012. Over the years I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings across the North East, the UK and abroad, and I specialise in a discreet, documentary approach that lets your day unfold naturally. My approach is straightforward and relaxed. I like to get to know you before the wedding so I can read the room on the day and anticipate the moments that matter. Meetings are typically at my studio in Greatham or online if that suits you better — this pre-wedding contact helps build trust and keeps things calm on the day. I also offer engagement (pre-wedding) sessions, which are a great way to become comfortable in front of the camera and to explore locations together. Hybrid coverage is an option I introduced in 2014: photography remains my core specialty, with optional videography add-ons available to complement the images. If you choose hybrid coverage I keep the same discreet, documentary ethos across both photo and film, so the visual story of your day remains cohesive. I edit each image with a consistent, timeless style so your photos look as good in 10 years as they do the day you receive them. Based in Hartlepool, I primarily cover the North East but am happy to travel for weddings anywhere in the UK and abroad.
