We’re Abbie & Lee — a Harrogate-based wedding photography team who love photographing real, unscripted wedding days. Our work centres on relaxed, documentary-style storytelling: we look for the laughs, the small glances, the messy confetti, the wild dancefloor moments and the quiet, golden-hour ones too. We prefer honest moments over forced posing and aim to produce a collection of images that reflect how your day genuinely felt. As a two‑photographer team we can be in two places at once: covering both preparations, capturing multiple angles of your ceremony and making sure no important moment is missed. We work quietly and unobtrusively — moving through a room rather than setting up elaborate rigs — so guests forget the camera is there and you get authentic, emotional photographs rather than staged snapshots. Our approach is personal and practical. We get to know you before the wedding, whether that’s via messages, a pre-wedding shoot or a pint down the local. These conversations help us understand what makes you tick, where you got engaged and what parts of the day you care about most. Many couples choose a pre-wedding (engagement) session with us — it’s a brilliant way to feel comfortable in front of the lens and to have some relaxed photos to use on invites or around the venue. We love adventurous, outdoor and micro celebrations as much as big party weddings. Mountain elopements, back‑garden festivals, woodland ceremonies and destination celebrations are all things we’ve photographed and fallen in love with. When we travel with you for a destination wedding, we treat it as an adventure: a pre-wedding shoot is included in our destination work so we can explore your surroundings together and capture something extra-special. Beyond photography, we care about the world we travel through. For every wedding we photograph we plant a tree as part of our commitment to becoming more eco-friendly — a small way of giving back for all the miles we cover to be with our couples.
