I’m Lynsey — a wedding photographer based in Guiseley, working across Leeds, Otley and the wider Yorkshire countryside. My approach is relaxed, unobtrusive and documentary-led: I’m there to capture the laughter, the little details and the honest moments that make your day uniquely yours. After nearly ten years photographing weddings around Yorkshire and the UK, I’ve refined a style couples describe as natural, vibrant and timeless. Why choose me? Those couple portraits in the middle of the day are one of my favourite parts of a wedding — a chance for you to pause, breathe and enjoy a few private moments while I make images that feel effortless and real. What makes my work special is the combination of documentary sensitivity and creative lighting. I seek out the natural light, the textures and the colour palettes that excite me — from soft pastels to bold autumn tones — and I use these to craft images that look as good on your walls today as they will decades from now. I also love after-dark portraits and creative night-time shots when the lights go down; they add a dramatic, memorable chapter to a wedding collection. How I work with couples: every booking starts with a conversation — either in person or over Zoom — to talk through your plans, timings and the moments you most want preserved. Engagement or pre-wedding shoots are available as a relaxed way to get to know each other before the big day. On the wedding day I aim to be calm and friendly, giving you space to enjoy your guests while I capture the ceremony, candid moments and the important family group shots efficiently and sensitively. I offer high-quality albums and wall art, individually designed so your favourite images live happily in your home.
