I’m Duncan Cox — a husband, father and a Worcestershire-based wedding photographer operating from Great Malvern. My work is rooted in reportage and documentary traditions: I seek out light, composition and those fleeting, uncontrollable moments that make a wedding day truly yours. My aim is straightforward — to create professional wedding photos that transport you back to exact feelings, smiles and tiny details of the day. Why choose me? I bring a warm, down-to-earth presence and years of experience shooting weddings in the Midlands and beyond. I favour a natural, non-cheesy approach where posing is kept to a minimum and authenticity is prioritised. Whether it’s the first look, an emotional speech, or laughter with old friends, I watch, wait and capture — blending into your day so you can live it and remember it. My style is often described as timeless yet contemporary: delicate where it needs to be, powerful when the moment demands it. Beautiful light is a constant driver for my creativity and I’m equally comfortable working with available light or crafting scenes with subtle off-camera lighting. As someone who loves street photography, I bring an observational eye to weddings — often discovering unexpected angles and candid moments that become some of my favourite images. I also offer engagement / pre-wedding shoots to help couples feel relaxed in front of the camera before the big day. These sessions are a great way to practise, get to know each other and create a set of relaxed portraits you’ll love. While wedding photography is my core speciality, I can also provide hybrid wedding video highlights as an add-on — a secondary service that complements the still images by giving you moving moments of your day. My hybrid approach lets you enjoy a short, beautifully edited montage without the need to hire a separate videographer. Collaboration and communication matter to me.
