Hi—I’m Nick Clark, the photographer behind Shoot the Day. Based in Gloucester, I’m a full-time wedding photographer with more than a decade of experience and over 350 weddings photographed. My work is driven by a simple idea: your wedding photos should feel like memories, not productions. I specialise in unobtrusive, documentary-led wedding photography that catches the emotion, humour and small details you spent so long planning. Why choose me? How I work: I’ll start by getting to know you—whether that’s a quick chat, a video call or meeting in person. On the day I stay calm and adaptable, reading the room and stepping forward when something important happens. I bring professional kit and experience shooting in churches, barns, stately homes and village halls across Gloucestershire and neighbouring counties, and I’m comfortable working in bright daylight or low-light evening receptions. My goal is to deliver a collection of wedding photos that transports you back to the feelings of the day.
