Hello — I’m Alex from Alporline Photography, a Fleetwood-based wedding photographer specialising in telling wedding day stories with a relaxed, personable approach. For more than eight years I’ve been photographing weddings across the North West and beyond, focusing on capturing genuine emotion, little details and the big moments that make your day unique. My work is rooted in a mix of documentary wedding photography, dramatic portraiture and classic composition. What that means for you is simple: I look for the unscripted reactions and atmosphere throughout the day, then create a few crafted portraits that feel timeless. I adapt my style to suit each couple — whether you want a natural, unobtrusive presence or more creative, posed imagery — and I take care to match the tone you want for your album. Working with me is calm and straightforward. I place importance on planning: a pre-wedding consultation helps us agree the timings, locations and can-do list for your day so nothing is left to chance. Many couples also opt for a pre-wedding (engagement) shoot — it’s a great way to relax in front of the camera and get to know one another before the big day. I love creating evening and twilight images using off-camera flash and simple props to add a little theatre to your portraits. These signature shots are often the ones couples treasure most — dramatic, stylish and fun to make. I’m also a fully licensed drone operator and include aerial photography as an optional enhancement, subject to venue permission and weather, to add another perspective to your wedding story. From the way I shoot on the day to how I present the finished work, my aim is to make the whole experience effortless and enjoyable.
