Hi, I’m Leo Sharp — a Falmouth-based wedding photographer who lives and works across Cornwall, the UK and beyond. My work grew out of a career in photojournalism and a life spent photographing people in action sports and on the street. That background gives me a natural instinct for narrative: I watch, wait and photograph the moments that matter rather than manufacturing them. Why choose me for your wedding? I won’t boss you around or interrupt the flow of the celebration — instead I aim to be part of the room, quietly capturing laughs, tears, confetti, dancing and the small details that tell your story. My approach is relaxed, friendly and human: many couples tell me they love how natural the images feel and how comfortable they were in front of the camera. What makes my work different is the blend of photographic disciplines I bring together. From a foundation in reportage and photo-editing to an early life shooting skateboarding and street culture, I combine an eye for composition with the energy of candid moments. I also enjoy shooting on both digital and traditional film when the occasion calls for it — film adds a tactile, timeless quality to portraits and sunset moments. How I work with couples is simple and personal. I start with a relaxed consultation — in person in Falmouth or remotely if you’re further away — to understand your plans and the vibe you want. Many couples opt for a pre-wedding or engagement shoot to get comfortable in front of the lens; it’s a great way to loosen up and practice before the big day. On the wedding day I document everything discreetly, stepping in gently for portraits that feel authentic and fun rather than staged. Although weddings are my primary focus, I’m also available for advertising and commercial assignments on request. I love travel and am happy to photograph weddings and elopements anywhere.
