I’m Steve Roberts, owner of S L J Roberts Photography based near Emsworth in Hampshire. Photography has been part of my life since childhood and I’ve built my wedding work around a calm, personal approach that helps couples relax and enjoy their day. I specialise in wedding photography and professional image editing — capturing natural moments while delivering polished images that you’ll treasure for years. My style is relaxed, documentary-led with the option for more structured portraits when you want them. I love to document the little unscripted moments: the laughter, the quiet glances, the spontaneous celebrations. As a trained photograph restorer and editor, I bring an extra level of care to every image — careful post-production, tasteful black & white conversions and clean, consistent edits that enhance emotion without taking it away. Working with me is straightforward and friendly. I start by listening: a pre-wedding consultation gives us time to discuss your vision, practical details and any individual requirements. On the day I’ll be unobtrusive, capturing arrivals, the ceremony, group and couple portraits, and the special moments at the reception — all with an easy-going manner so you and your guests can be yourselves. After the wedding I carefully edit your images and provide them via a secure, password-protected online album for convenient sharing and downloading.
