Hi — I’m Scott (He / Him), a Durham-based wedding photographer who believes in “less trad, more you.” For more than 11 years I’ve photographed over 200 weddings across the North East, focusing on authentic, documentary-style wedding photography that shows what your day actually felt like. I love colour, candid moments and the slightly messy, brilliant reality of weddings — the laughter, the hugs, the dancefloor chaos — and I aim to deliver photos that take you right back to those feelings. My approach is simple and friendly. We start with a chat — tea, gin or hot chocolate (marshmallows optional) — so I can learn about you, your plans and what matters on the day. On the wedding day I’m unobtrusive and warm: a calm presence who fits in like another guest, capturing candid moments and relaxed portraits without pulling you away from the party for hours. After the wedding you’ll receive your gallery to share with friends and family; I’m also on hand for planning advice, supplier recommendations and any questions about making the most of your memories.
