Hi — I’m Hannah Winskill, the photographer behind Winskill Photography, based in Dronfield just outside Sheffield. With a Fine Art background from Sheffield Hallam and more than a decade working professionally since 2009, I specialise in wedding photography and aim to capture your day with a gentle, storytelling approach. Why choose me? I work deliberately as a wedding specialist. My style is unobtrusive and relaxed — I watch for the small, honest moments and the natural interactions that make your day uniquely yours. From quiet glances to laughter between family members, I prefer to blend into the day so you and your guests can be yourselves while I document the story as it unfolds. My fine art training and time in the darkroom taught me to see composition, emotion and light in a way that helps create timeless wedding photos. How I work: I take a personal, friendly approach. We’ll meet before your wedding so you know exactly what to expect and we can get comfortable together — I find this makes portraits and group moments feel calm and and enjoyable. On the day I stay flexible and low-key, guiding only when needed and focusing on capturing candid moments, the atmosphere and the relationships that matter to you. Because I take on a limited number of weddings each year, I can give personal attention to every couple and their story. Based in Dronfield and working across Sheffield, Derbyshire and Yorkshire, I’m happy to discuss weddings locally and further afield.
