I’m Sarah, the person behind Key Reflections, and for more than 15 years I’ve been photographing weddings across Sheffield, South Yorkshire and beyond. My work is rooted in people – I studied sociology and I’m a self-confessed people person – so I’m fascinated by the little interactions that make each wedding unique. My approach is relaxed, informal and fun. I specialise in capturing the moments you don’t know you’ve missed: the catch in a parent’s voice, a guest’s private laugh, the tiny details that stitch a day together. I lean into a reportage style, blending into the background to record genuine emotion, but I’ll also step forward when you want a few natural, guided portraits of the two of you. The aim is always the same — to create wedding photos that transport you back to how the day felt. Working with me is straightforward and friendly. We’ll start with a chat — in person, on Zoom or on the phone — to get a feel for your plans and personalities. On the day I’m unobtrusive: I’ll be there early enough to catch the getting-ready moments, alongside the ceremony, the candid family interactions and the party atmosphere that comes later. When formal group shots are needed I’ll keep them efficient and pleasant so you can get back to celebrating. If you’d like an engagement or pre-wedding shoot, I’m happy to arrange one to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera. I’m based in Dronfield but I travel across the UK and have experience at a wide range of venues, from city halls and museums to country houses and unique, independent spaces.
