I’m Michal Ufniak — a Doncaster-based wedding photographer who’s passionate about photographing real weddings across Yorkshire, Doncaster and the UK. My work is rooted in a documentary, natural and relaxed approach: I aim to tell the story of your day as it happens, capturing those unposed, honest moments that bring you straight back to how it felt. I love photographing laughter, quiet glances and the little, quirky moments that often go unnoticed on the day but become the photographs couples cherish. My goal is to deliver timeless, emotive images that feel authentic and personal — images that don’t look staged but instead read like the honest record of your celebration. How I work with couples: I keep the process simple and friendly. From our first conversation I want to understand what matters to you — the tone of the day, the people who matter most, and any must-have moments. On the wedding day I blend into the background, letting events unfold naturally while being ready for those decisive moments. I’m comfortable working in low light when needed and I’m used to adapting to different venues and weather — whether it’s a stately home, a barn, a city registry or a windswept hill in the Dales. My style is relaxed but thoughtful. I’m happy to offer a pre-wedding chat so you know what to expect and feel comfortable with how I’ll be working. While weddings are my main focus, I also offer engagement shoots as a way for couples to get used to being photographed together and to create a small collection of images before the big day. Based in Doncaster, I regularly photograph weddings across Yorkshire and further afield — I’m happy to travel for destination celebrations. Above all, I love the privilege of being part of people’s weddings: documenting genuine emotion, creating a beautiful archive of memories, and giving you photographs that you’ll come back to again and again.
