I’m Jacque Prates — an award‑winning wedding photographer based in Derby who loves telling authentic love stories through photographs. Photography chose me the day my first daughter was born, and since then I’ve devoted myself to preserving the real, unscripted moments that make each wedding unique. Over four years and more than 200 love stories later, my work is driven by the simple belief that your wedding day should be remembered exactly as it felt. My approach is story‑led and unobtrusive. When I do step in for portraits, I keep things natural and fun so even camera‑shy couples feel comfortable and look like themselves. Working with me is relaxed and personal. I like to get to know couples before the big day — a chat, a call or a coffee so we can talk about what matters most to you. On the day I bring calm, kindness and professional experience, plus reliable backup equipment so nothing is left to chance.
