I’m Michael — the photographer behind House of Light Photography in Denton. Wedding photography is my specialty, and for more than a decade I’ve been creating cinematic, romantic images that tell the emotional story of a couple’s wedding day. My work focuses on authentic moments: the spontaneous laughter, the quiet in-between glances, and the energy of your celebration — all presented with an artistic eye. My approach is intentionally relaxed and hands-off. I combine documentary instincts with portrait sensibilities so couples can enjoy their day while I remain in the right place at the right time. My portrait sessions use a “fluid” posing style to keep images looking natural and un‑posed, and I rely on knowledge of composition, light and depth to turn fleeting moments into photographs that still feel powerful years later. I trained at the School of Visual Arts and have shot hundreds of weddings, so I know how to manage timing, challenging light and the unexpected. Couples tell me I feel like an old friend on their day — calm, organized and genuinely invested in making the photography portion of your planning easy. From our initial consultation we’ll build a clear timeline and plan that suits your venue and priorities so you’re never left wondering what comes next. While wedding photography is my primary focus, I also offer cinematic 4K wedding videography when couples want both photo and film. My videos are crafted to feel cinematic and emotional — capturing vows with full audio and edit-driven highlight reels that bring your day back to life.
