My approach is documentary-led with a portrait sensibility. That means I spend time capturing the small details — the dress, shoes, invitations — and the unscripted moments: the laugh between friends, the quiet exchange between a couple, the first dance. At the same time I’ll step in when needed to create relaxed, flattering portraits that you’ll be proud to display. For many couples I meet beforehand to plan timings, key group shots and locations so the day runs smoothly. On the wedding day I arrive early to assess light and locations, set up unobtrusively and work in a professional, friendly way so you and your guests can enjoy the celebrations. I aim to deliver a collection of images that tell the story of your day — from getting ready through to those informal moments at the reception. I also provide beautiful keepsakes, including professionally produced wedding albums and high-resolution images you can print or share online. My experience across portrait and business photography helps me produce consistent, colour-accurate images suitable for both large prints and social media use.
